City of Auburn Launches New Passport Program to Promote Local Businesses
The City of Auburn has kicked off an exciting new initiative aimed at promoting local businesses and encouraging residents to explore all that the city has to offer. The City of Auburn Passport Program, which was officially launched last week, is designed to reward residents for shopping and dining at local businesses while also supporting economic growth in the community.
The program works like this: residents can pick up a passport booklet at participating businesses or at the City Hall. The booklet contains a list of all the businesses taking part in the program, along with a map of their locations throughout the city. Residents are then encouraged to visit as many of these businesses as possible and get their passport stamped at each one. For every five stamps they collect, residents will receive a special discount or promotion at a participating business.
“We are really excited about the Passport Program and the positive impact it will have on our community,” says Mayor Jane Smith. “By encouraging residents to shop and dine locally, we are not only supporting our local businesses but also fostering a sense of community pride and connection among our residents.”
The Passport Program has been in the works for several months, with city officials working closely with local business owners to develop a program that would benefit both residents and businesses alike. “We wanted to create a program that would incentivize residents to support our local businesses while also promoting economic growth in our community,” says City Manager John Doe. “We believe that the Passport Program accomplishes both of these goals and we are excited to see how residents respond to it.”
Business owners are also excited about the new program and are hopeful that it will bring in more customers and boost sales. “I think the Passport Program is a great idea and I am looking forward to seeing more people coming into my store as a result of it,” says Sarah Johnson, owner of Sarah’s Boutique on Main Street. “It’s a win-win for everyone involved and I am grateful to the city for implementing such a creative and innovative program.”
The Passport Program is just one of many initiatives that the City of Auburn has implemented in recent years to support local businesses and promote economic development in the community. From hosting farmers markets and street fairs to offering small business grants and incentives, the city is committed to creating a vibrant and thriving business community that benefits everyone who lives and works in Auburn.
Residents who are interested in participating in the Passport Program can pick up a booklet at City Hall or at any of the participating businesses. The program is open to residents of all ages and will run throughout the year, with new promotions and discounts being added regularly.
“We encourage all residents to get out there and start exploring all that Auburn has to offer,” says Mayor Smith. “Whether you are shopping for clothing, grabbing a bite to eat, or getting a haircut, there are so many great businesses in our city that deserve our support. The Passport Program is a fun and easy way to show these businesses some love and earn some great discounts in the process. So grab your passport and start exploring – you won’t be disappointed!”
