Passport Mexican Launches New Initiative to Help Mexicans Abroad

Passport Mexican, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Mexicans living and working abroad, has announced a new initiative aimed at providing assistance to Mexican nationals in need of help with their passport applications. The organization, which was founded in 2015, aims to act as a bridge between the Mexican government and its citizens living in other countries.

The new initiative, dubbed “Passport Assistance Program,” will provide resources and support to Mexicans seeking to renew or apply for a new passport. This program comes at a time when many Mexicans living abroad are facing challenges in obtaining or renewing their passports due to the closure of many Mexican consulates and embassies as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We understand the difficulties that many Mexicans abroad are facing in obtaining or renewing their passports, and we want to do our part to help alleviate those challenges,” said Marcela Garcia, founder and CEO of Passport Mexican. “Our Passport Assistance Program aims to provide much-needed support to our community members during these challenging times.”

The Passport Assistance Program will offer a range of services to Mexicans seeking help with their passport applications. These services include assistance with filling out passport application forms, scheduling appointments at Mexican consulates or embassies, and providing guidance on the process of obtaining or renewing a passport.

In addition to these services, Passport Mexican will also offer financial assistance to cover the costs associated with obtaining or renewing a passport. Many Mexicans living abroad are struggling financially as a result of the economic impact of the pandemic, and Passport Mexican aims to help alleviate some of that burden by providing financial support to those in need.

The organization is also working on a digital platform that will make it easier for Mexicans living abroad to access information and resources related to passport applications. The platform will provide step-by-step guidance on the process of obtaining or renewing a passport, as well as information on the documents and requirements needed for the application.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for Mexicans living abroad to access the support and resources they need to obtain or renew their passports,” said Garcia. “Our digital platform will provide a one-stop shop for information and assistance related to passport applications, making the process more streamlined and accessible for our community members.”

The Passport Assistance Program is set to launch in the coming months, with the digital platform expected to be up and running by early next year. Passport Mexican is also planning to host a series of virtual workshops and information sessions to provide additional support and guidance to Mexicans living abroad.

“We are committed to supporting our community members in any way we can, and we believe that the Passport Assistance Program will make a real difference in the lives of many Mexicans living abroad,” said Garcia. “We urge anyone in need of help with their passport application to reach out to us for assistance.”
